The Journal of Child Psychology & Psychiatry (JCPP) is seeking early career researchers (within 10 years of being awarded their PhD or MD) with expertise in the field of child and adolescent psychology and psychiatry to become part of our Board of Editorial Affiliates.

Editorial Affiliates will collaborate closely with our existing specialist editors to support them in making decisions. At the same time, they will receive mentorship and training as well as an honorarium. Appointments will be made on the basis of experience, achievement and promise in a way that allows us to cover the wide range of clinical domains and methods/approaches. We encourage applications from all sectors of the community of researchers including from countries, communities and organisations that may be currently under-represented in editorial work in the field.

Interested parties should send their CV together with a one-page account of

  1. why they would like to become a JCPP Editorial Affiliate
  2. their areas of expertise
  3. an account of their prior editorial/reviewing work
  4. the skills, experiences and perspectives that they would bring to the journal.

Please email the above to the Editor-in-Chief of JCPP, Edmund Sonuga-Barke by Tuesday 31 January 2023, 5pm UK time.
