CAMH team wishes to say thank you, and best wishes, to Professor Jane Barlow

Jane is Professor of Evidence-Based Intervention and Policy Evaluation in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention, and a Professorial Fellow of St Hilda’s College. Prior to moving to Oxford she was Professor of Public Health at Warwick Medical School, University of Warwick, and Director of Warwick Infant and Family Wellbeing Unit.

Jane joined the Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) journal team as editor in 2012 and took over as Editor-in-Chief in 2016. She is stepping down from her role in September 2018. CAMH has grown in strength under her leadership – gaining in downloads and altmetric scores and has seen the introduction of ‘Narrative Matters’ – a series of academic essays on health humanities with special relevance to child and adolescent mental health. Also thanks to Jane’s efforts, CAMH welcomed on board our new Quantitative Methods Editor. Besides her immense knowledge and expertise, Jane brought her distinct charm and warmth to the meetings. The CAMH team would like to thank her for her great contribution to the journal and amazing team spirit. We wish her all the very best in her new assignment.
