ACAMH is a charity that has been at the forefront of the dissemination of evidence-based mental health research for over 60 years. 

We receive no government funding, nor do we solicit donations, we need members to be part of the advancement of child and adolescent mental health. Any surplus that we make is reinvested back for the benefits of members, and for the sector.

International Membership – FREE membership for countries and territories

ACAMH is committed to disseminating evidence-based research on child and adolescent mental health across the world. As such, we intend to offer a free International Membership to those who reside in the countries and territories classified by the World Bank as Low Income Economies, or Lower-Middle-Income Economies in 2026. 
 
The International Membership offers the individual all the benefits of our Online Membership, as per details above. PLUS International Members get access to almost all our webinars for free. We encourage you to share these details of our free International Member scheme with colleagues and other professionals working in child and adolescent mental health in these countries. All applications for free International membership will be screened, and the final decision on offering free membership will be at the discretion of ACAMH.

Processing of all memberships is undertaken by an individual so please bear with us if you do not receive immediate confirmation of your membership. We aim to give confirmation within 3 working days. If you want to attend an event and take advantage of the discount and the event is in three days or less please email asap.

Please note that refunds for cancellation of membership is only possible by contacting for details please email within 14 days of the membership being activated/renewed, and a £10 administration charge will be deducted from the refund.
