Talk title: Recovery and Justice following Child Sexual Abuse: Lessons from the Lighthouse – England’s first Barnahus.
Children who have experienced sexual abuse have the right to high-quality support to recover from trauma and to access justice. The internationally-recognised Barnahus model seeks to provide this under one roof, via co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary, holistic care and support. As the first Barnahus service in England, the Lighthouse has gained key insights into adapting the model into its local and national context.
