“I am truly honoured by this recognition from the NIHR of the value and importance of child and adolescent mental health services research. My NIHR research strives to improve the mental health outcomes for children and young people in community, school and clinical settings. I am passionate about leading service-facing research that can make an impact through informing policy, commissioning and the delivery of evidence-based interventions and services. These NIHR Senior Investigator Awards are a testament to the superb healthcare research environment that the Institute of Mental Health and Nottinghamshire Healthcare provide.”
Kapil is one of only three Senior Investigators appointed in the field of mental health this year.
