JCPP Advances has a broad remit covering all areas of infant, child and adolescent, and early adult development as these relate to mental health and disorder, and developmental psychopathology, broadly defined. Dr. Catharina A. Hartman is Associate Professor of psychiatric epidemiology at the Interdisciplinary Center of Psychopathology and Emotion Regulation, University Medical Center Groningen, the Netherlands. The overall objective of her research team’s work is to advance mechanistic understanding of the onset and (long-term) course of childhood-onset psychiatric disorders.

Laurie Hannigan

Laurie Hannigan is a senior researcher based at the Lovisenberg Diaconal Hospital and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH), Oslo, Norway. He completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Southampton, in the UK, followed by a master’s in Social, Genetic, and Developmental Psychiatry at King’s College London. He obtained his PhD in Behavior Genetics from King’s in 2018.
