  • Dr. Bernadka Dubicka

    Honorary Professor Dr. Bernadka Dubicka – Editor in Chief

    Editor in Chief, Bernadka is currently Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Child and Adolescent Faculty since 2017, working to promote the mental wellbeing of young people and their families. Further, she is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Pennine Care Foundation Trust, involved with leading the research unit, has been an advisor to the National Institute of Health Research Health Technology Assessment panel, and has also served as principle investigator in one of the largest international psychological treatment trials in adolescent depression – Improving Mood with Psychoanalytic and Cognitive Therapies (IMPACT).

    Gabrielle Carlson is Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. She is also President of AACAP (American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry) Professor Carlson is a Joint Editor of CAMH.

    Dr. Gordon Bates is a consultant child psychiatrist interested in the interaction between culture, young people and mental illness. He works for the NHS in the West Midlands and has recently completed his PhD in medical humanities. He is an Associate Editor of CAMH, responsible for the Narrative Matters section.

    Dr. Marinos Kyriakopoulos is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Visiting Senior Lecturer in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, KCL, and Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is Joint Training Programme Director for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Maudsley Scheme. Dr. Kyriakopoulos is an Associate Editor of CAMH, focusing on Clinical Research Updates.
