Journal of Child Psychology & Psychiatry – Call for Early Career Researchers Reviewer Panel

ECR reviewer panellist will commit to providing a minimum of 5 reviews in a calendar year for an initial three-year term. Working closely with the Affiliate Editors, they will get to work with a highly regarded journal in the field, with the panel to be displayed on the journal’s home page and mast head. The panellists will also be spotlighted in promotions around annual Peer review week (around Sep-Oct each year). More importantly, following a successful three-year term, there is an opportunity to be considered for an Affiliate Editor position. Appointments to the panel will be made on the basis of experience, in a way that allows us to cover the widest range of clinical domains and methods/approaches. We encourage applications from all sectors of the community of researchers including from countries, communities and organisations that may be currently under-represented in editorial work in the field.

All reviewers for JCPP are recognized for their invaluable work through five available recognition schemes – See here for more details. Each year, following Peer Review Week, we also highlight the Top Reviewers for our journals in the previous calendar year (see here for 2024), as well as publishing a list of all reviewers for that same calendar year (see here for 2024), to ensure all contributions are recognised and accredited.

Interested parties should send their CV together with a one-page account of (i) their areas of expertise, (ii) an account of their prior editorial/reviewing experience (iii) list of publications.
