Join a Committee

Have you ever considered joining a committee? When you choose to serve on a volunteer committee you open up a world of possibilities for networking, professional growth, and career opportunities while serving your profession. Volunteer member groups are the backbone of the association. They:

  • Serve as a forum for the exchange of information
  • Advance the sharing and dissemination of knowledge about child and adolescent mental health
  • Develop conferences and seminars
  • Develop local links between ACAMH other professional organisations
Please review the list of committees and identify those areas that you have some interest in participating and contact us to explore further options.
Local Network Committees
The Association is fortunate in having an active Local Network of branches throughout the UK and Ireland, run by ACAMH members at the local level.  They organise their own programme of meetings and events for the benefit of those working within and interested in child and adolescent mental health.

Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide a forum for like-minded CAMHS professionals with an interest in a particular child and adolescent mental health related topic to come together for mutual, professional support, to share knowledge, skills and good practice and disseminate their work and findings.
