JCPP Advances now indexed on PubMedCentral

The PubMedCentral (PMC) archive for JCPP Advances is now live, from Volume 1 Issue 1 (April 2021) through to the Volume 3 Issue 1 (March 2023) and can be accessed via the PubMed Central website.

Available to the public online since 2000, the PMC is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the National Institute of Health’s National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM), USA.

With the PMC archive containing over 8 million full-text articles, this is a fantastic achievement for JCPP Advances. Not only does being indexed in the archive ensure a long-term and publicly accessible archive of JCPP Advances, but it also provides every author published in JCPP Advances with increased discoverability, and visibility, of their papers.

Professor Henrik Larsson, Editor in Chief, said; ‘We are very pleased that JCPP Advances has been accepted for indexing on PubMedCentral. It’s a nod to the quality of the journal and will definitely offer better visibility and discoverability to the papers’.

Prabha Choubina, ACAMH Publications Director, said; ‘PMC indexing is a rigorous process that ensures the reliability and credibility of the journal. Thanks to our authors who trusted our journal’s policies and practices and submitted to us. They will be pleased to know that their papers are sure to have increased visibility and impact’.

In it’s three years of publication, JCPP Advances has gone from strength to strength with over 150 published papers, over 200,000 downloads, and the number of submissions growing steadily by around 15% a year. In addition to now being indexed in PMC, JCPP Advances has also been selected for coverage in APA PsycInfo, and accepted into the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
