ADHD, A Young Person’s Guide

Hosted by Dr. Blandine French, this podcast series focuses on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) and is designed to help young people and their families. We are delighted to produce this podcast series in partnership with Clinical Partners, the UK’s largest private mental health partnership.

ADHD is a behavioural disorder with three key aspects, inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity, which interfere with a child or young person’s functioning or development. The exact cause of ADHD is as yet unknown, but we do know that it is a mix of genetic and environmental factors working together that looks likely to be the cause.

In this podcast series, Dr. Blandine French is joined by several guest speakers to discuss various topics relevant to children and young people with ADHD. Guests include mental health professionals, academics, researchers, and lived experience perspectives from a number of young people.

This podcast series for young people is supported by Clinical Partners. With the UK’s largest network of senior mental health professionals, Clinical Partners can help ensure your child has fast-tracked the right diagnosis and optimized treatment plan.
